Diego Madrigal is a Director of Photography based out of Los Angeles, California.
Diego Madrigal is a Mexican-American cinematographer based in Los Angeles, California, whose work focuses on underrepresented subjects. He was raised partially in LA and partially in Mexico, where he studied film at the Centre for the Arts, Architecture and Design (CUAAD). After graduating from The Los Angeles Film School, Diego has worked full time on a wide array of film projects, including Sephora tutorials, Spotify Documentaries, Lifetime features, black and white science fiction neo-noir thrillers, Drama series with all black casts, on-the-road immersive theatre docu-dramas, and countless music videos. He served as the Director of Photography on Issa Rae’s independent series Giants, which earned him a nomination for Best Cinematography by the International Academy of Web Television Awards.
